For thousands of years ancients cultures used breath as medicine to heal & calm the mind. Modern science has more recently shown how breath can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, improve fitness, relieve anxiety, depression, asthma, headaches, heart & lung dysfunction, snoring, sleep apnea & sleep dysfunction.

This weekend we will use yoga asana, myofascial release, breathing techniques from Yoga & the science based research from James Nestor & Oxygen Advantage ( Patrick Mckeown).

Day 1

10am-11.30: Informative & practical breath training

11.30-12.30: yoga and breath session

Lunch

1.45-2.45: Practical breath training techniques

3-4.30: Myo Yin Yoga – yin & myofacial release for the breathing muscles

Day 2

9.30-10.15: Slow flow – incorporating breath techniques

10.30-11.30: Deep relaxation meditation with breath technique

11.30-12: Final thoughts & discussion
